The Persons We Help
Top of Page
We assist low-income women and men who can show us that they:
 | have limited funds, with proof of their monthly wages or other sources of
income and any property, and |
 | live in Los Angeles County, and |
 | have a family law or domestic violence case in Los Angeles County, and |
 | are able to come to our office for assistance. |
How to Get an Appointment
Top of Page
 | The only way to get help is to call us first for an appointment. |
 | The telephone number to call is (213)388-7515. Listen to the
messages on this line which tell more about our services and when to call for
an appointment. |
 | Because so many people need our help, it may take a long time to reach us
and the telephone lines are often busy. |
 | If you come to our office without an appointment, we cannot help you. |
Do Our Services Cost Anything?
Top of Page
 | We do not charge a fee for our services. However, donations are
gladly accepted. |
 | Clients are responsible for paying court costs, such as filing fees. The
court may waive a portion or all of these fees if the person’s income is low
enough to fit within the fee waiver guidelines. |
