This plan sets forth our priorities for how we will work to expand access to justice, empower individuals and families, protect survivors, and amplify the impact of our legal services across Los Angeles County.
Our focus is simple and urgent: serve more clients. We aim to ensure that every qualified person who needs our help can receive the benefit of our legal representation, education, and advocacy.

Strategic Priorities
- Client Legal Services: Serve more clients and provide deeper, more comprehensive support.
- Pro Bono Program: Expand opportunities for volunteer attorneys and law students to help more families.
- Advocacy, Outreach, and Education: Strengthen partnerships, advocate for fair policies, and provide community education.
- Public Narrative: Raise awareness of the importance of family law and highlight the Buhai Center’s leadership.
